The Online Application connects directly to your EMS or SCADA system, using solved powerflow cases from the state estimator. Security assessments are performed automatically, either in a user-defined cycle or triggered by system events.
Results are visualized in DSA Manager or delivered back to your EMS display, stored in a real-time database, or archived for post-event analysis and operator training.

Unlike other platforms, DSATools™ does not rely on simplified modeling shortcuts that may overlook critical system behaviors. Instead, it uses full-model simulation, supported by:
- Distributed computation across high-performance multi-core servers
- Parallelized assessment tasks for scalability
- Support for history and forecast cases alongside real-time snapshots
