Powertech Labs Features Hydrogen Fueling Station at The Future is Green Conference in Long Beach, California
August 26, 2008
SURREY, B.C., August 26, 2008—Powertech Labs Inc. will feature its hydrogen fueling station design and construction capabilities at “The Future is Green”, a conference and expo on new and emerging clean air technologies being held this September 14-16, 2008, in Long Beach, California. Hydrogen fueling stations are an important puzzle piece in the road to a clean transportation future that includes hydrogen-powered vehicles. Powertech Labs designed and built the world’s first 700 bar (10,000 psi) fast-fill hydrogen fueling station in 2002. Since then it has also been involved in the design and construction of stationary and portable fueling stations, where the stations are parked where needed and then refilled with compressed hydrogen for remote refueling of hydrogen vehicles. In business for almost 30 years, Powertech's clients span from across North America, Europe and Asia and seek support for technology development, testing, modeling and other consulting services. Areas of focus include: - Clean energy transportation solutions, with a focus on hydrogen fuelling systems
- Clean energy for remote and urban communities
- Smart grid management tools and diagnostics
- Utility asset testing, modeling and management
