Premier's Technology Council Supports Powertech as a Centre of Excellence for Smart Grid Technology and a Hydrogen Highway Rally to California in 2009

October 12, 2007 - The Province of British Columbia's Premier’s Technology Council has released its tenth report. The report focuses on three areas: clean technology, innovation-commercialization and technology in learning. The Premier’s Technology Council was established in August 2001 to advise the government on issues related to the advancement and application of technology in British Columbia. The full report is available at: http://www.gov.bc.ca/premier/technology_council/. Recommendations in the report include transforming Powertech Labs into a Centre of Excellence for Smart Grid Technology and that the government support a "Hydrogen Highway Rally" to California in 2009.
